Spang Engineered Solutions Acquires Frost Magnetics
Spang Engineered Solutions (SES), a business unit of Spang and Company, has acquired Frost Magnetics, located in Oakhurst, California. The purchase expands the reach of SES by providing a presence in the western United States. Frost’s deep roots in the region and outstanding reputation in the industry strengthen the ability of SES to serve existing and new customers.
In addition, the Frost Magnetics team brings unique expertise in the design and manufacture of magnetic devices. Specific areas where Frost’s technical strengths complement those of SES include line frequency power magnetics in compact packages; redesign for improved efficiency, both at line frequency and switching frequencies; robust design for extreme environmental conditions; and UL/CSA certifications, all of which will continue with SES.
